Those of us now in the floor care industry, are in it at a time when a new chapter is being written on hard surface maintenance. Specifically, there is now a new and much more effective way to clean and maintain tile and grout. This has, historically, been a problem dealt with utilizing tools from simple mopping and scrubbing with a brush, to rotary scrubbers and wet vacs to covering everything and pressure washing the surface
Ceramic Tile Grout Cleaning
For most, the old fashioned mop is the cleaning tool of choice. Although this appears to work fine at first, eventually you start to notice the tile getting darker in the traffic areas. Mopping no longer gets the job done. Dirt and soil from the mop has been absorbed into the grout between the tile leaving it dull and dingy.
Next you break out the toothbrush. It’s amazing what you can do with a tooth brush and several long days of tedious labor on your hands and knees, however, if you have more important things to do with your time, there is a better way.
